Ridgecrest earthquakes caused earth crust damage from satellite

"One of the things we want to know after an earthquake is which fault has been moved and how far. Thus, using these satellite images, we can determine where the fault is, what are the fault lengths that slipped in the earthquake and which fault is the most misplaced. This allows us to better understand where future earthquakes could occur, "said Eric Fielding of JPL.
