Rift Apart releases in June

New generation exclusivity Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Releases on PS5 on June 11, Insomniac Games announced today on the PlayStation blog.

Announced last June, action platformer set to be a showroom for new PlayStation hardware, including levels where players seamlessly jump between multiple worlds, something that wouldn’t have been possible on the PS4.

In addition, the game will be have two graphics modes, one playing the game in 4K at 30 fps, and one playing the game at 60 fps and “lower resolution”. Unlike some of Sony’s other first party exclusives, including last year Spider-Man: Miles Morales and this coming year Western forbidden horizon, Rift Apart will not come on PS4.

PS4 owners who want to stock up on anthropomorphized animals performing high-tech hijinks can always check out the 2016s. excellent remake of the first game of the Ratchet and Clank series. This game is also available for free to paid PlayStation Plus subscribers on PS5 as part of the PS Plus collection of the new console.
