Riley Reiff receives praise from Vikings coach Mike Zimmer

Former Vikings LT Riley Reiff moved from Minnesota to Cincinnati in the 2021 offseason. He played four seasons with the Vikings and was named team captain.

Minnesota coach Mike Zimmer seems to like Reiff a lot. Here’s what he said about the Bengals’ tackle before Cincinnati and Minnesota faced off in Week 1:

“One of my all-time favorite guys,” Mike Zimmer said of Reiff, by Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic. “When he went to Cincinnati I told him he could have all of my door codes and house codes at my house there if he ever wanted to go hunting or whatever. I told him he could even have all the beer in the fridge if he wanted.

Reiff went from a left tackle with the Vikings to a right tackle with the Bengals. This means he will face his former teammate Danielle Hunter. It’s a tough first clash with his new team, but Reiff has just had a good year in 2020. It will certainly be a good clash to watch.
