The highly anticipated 9.4 patch from League of Legends has been pushed back, but Riot is keeping his fans busy with new Lore Notes and a teaser for the rework of Kayle and Morgana.
Unfortunately, the patch was delayed until February 21 – a day later than expected, but players are naturally impatient.
Prior to the full release notes, Riot provided fans with a fresh piece of news, with "tradition notes" detailing the changes made to the biography of a few champions.
Sejuani and Udyr: Silence for the Damned, by Odin Austin Shafer
"Udyr had no desire for these unhappy reunions either. Sejuani's face transformed, softening before she smiled maliciously. "No," she smiled. "That's exactly why I need you with me, old friend."
Kayle: Bio update
"In times of conflict and chaos, many hope that Kayle will come back someday … and others who pray that such a day will never happen."
Updates to Kayle's biography align her more closely with the events of her birth, as well as a better intertwining of her relationship with her sister, Morgana. Kayle would eventually become an ardent protector of Justice in Demacia and, as a result, break off her relationship with her sister. Although it has been absent from Demacia for centuries, its icons and statues still inspire much of Demacia's culture and laws.
Morgana: Biography updated
"As the magic begins to reborn, Morgana sees that dawn is almost here."
With Morgana's new biography, we focused her story on the consequences of the gifts that she and her sister would receive from their mother, which would lead to a difficult relationship. The death of Morgana's father would cement a deep fracture between the two sisters and Morgana is now waiting for her time in the shadow of Demacia, waiting for the return of her sister.
Update 9.4 will go live on Thursday, February 21, and Riot advised players to make sure their firewalls are exceptions to League of Legends.
The full release notes for 9.4 should be removed on February 21, as well as (hopefully) new skins on sale.
