Robert De Niro, Mike Myers and Chris Rock sign up for David O. Russell’s new top secret film
He’s back making his first film in over five years.
And David O. Russell continues to recruit big names for his top secret project which is currently filming in Southern California.
On Thursday, Deadline.com reported that Robert De Niro, Mike Myers and Chris Rock had all come on board.
This will be the second time that De Niro has worked with the director; he starred in Silver Linings Playbook with Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper.
And the hiring frenzy didn’t end there; Anya Taylor-Joy also joins the cast, fresh out of her acclaimed performance in Netflix’s The Queen’s Gambit.
Newly registered are Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts and Alessandro Nivola.

The new talent pool joins previously announced stars John David Washington, Zoe Saldana and Christian Bale who were seen filming on location in Saugus, outside Los Angeles on Monday.
The cast also includes Margot Robbie and Rami Malek.
Russell is directing the film from his own screenplay and all we know is that it’s an original story.
The filmmaker went through a prolific phase in the early 2000s, making a series of high profile releases including The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle and Joy.
He first rose to prominence with the 1996 comedy Flirting With Disaster, which was followed by Three Kings in 1999 and I Heart Huckabees in 2004.
It has been nominated five times for an Oscar in the direction and screenwriting categories.
