Marvel may finally share his plans for the next two years, but that does not mean that there are not many things we do not know about their upcoming movies. When it comes to Black Widow we finally know when this happens, between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: war in the infinite, which means that there are a lot of people dead in the current chronology who are still alive during the events of Black Widow. One of these characters in Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark aka Iron Man. At the end of Captain America: Civil War Tony and Natasha separate soon after the events of the battle of the airport. However, they were both part of the same team and have known each other for longer than any other Avengers.
So, it's not surprising that, through Deadline and their cover of the Saturn's Awards, Downey Jr. is about to return Black Widow. We can expect that the role is not very big, maybe even less than its role in Spider-Man: Homecomingbut it's always good to see Marvel go out of his way to put Downey Jr. in another movie.
Black Widow, directed by Cate Shortland, stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbor, O. T. Fagbenle, Rachel Weisz, and Ray Winstone. It will be published on May 1, 2020.
