The Super Spies Organization takes on a new life.
Director Robert Rodriguez will return to the beloved Spy Kids franchise to lead a reboot of Skydance. The first one Spy kids film – starring Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara – premiered in 2001 and followed two children who discover their parents’ secret lives as international super spies. While Rodriguez is known for his action thrillers, he has also made a name for himself as a director of kid-friendly action comedies. In addition to the Spy Kids films, Rodriguez also directed the cult classic from 2005 The Sharkboy and Lavagirl adventures in 3D.
