It's been 25 years since the legendary Robin Williams masqueraded as a rock-n-rollin nanny, and his fellow cast members found fond memories of the late great comedian.

Classic family movie Ms. Doubtfire was released in 1993, starring Williams and Sally Field, an Oscar winner. And the actors who played Hillard's children – Lisa Jakub as Lydia, Matthew Lawrence as Chris and Itty Bitty as Natalie, are all great.

Gathered to commemorate the film's 25th anniversary (unfortunately not in the house), the three co-stars joined co-starring Pierce Brosnan, who played Field's new, classy boyfriend, Stu, in the film for an interview with NBC NBC Gadi.

Mama Field was not there because she was on a reading tour for her new memoir, In pieces.

Among their own memories of their first encounter on the set, the actors recall the inimitable and beloved Williams, who plays Daniel Hillard and the eponymous hero Euphegenia Doubtfire in the film. Williams died in 2014.

The cast celebrated his incredible talents of improvising, filming this restaurant, at the pool, and at the scene where Williams throws the remote in the aquarium.

"It would be like, 'OK, take 25!' Said Wilson. "Robin would be different every time."

"Working with Robin was a paradise," said Brosnan. "To observe his art, his commitment, his passion, his humanity and just his hard work and his commitment to the role and all the actors of the set, it has permeated all our lives."

"He was so great with the kids … he was very kind, very generous and very funny," said Wilson, who described Williams as "an accomplished artist" and detailed all the films that he would have to deliver. on stage for his young child. co-stars. "He would bark his rucksack like a dog under the table. There have been so many times, countless times, that he made us laugh.

Jakub said that Williams' openness about his fight against addiction and depression has helped him to see his own battle against anxiety from a different angle.

"One of the most powerful things for me in working with him, is that he's been very open and honest, talking about his addiction issues, depression, and that." Was so powerful for me at 14, "she said.

Lawrence had a similar experience, Williams actively seeking out his young co-stars, explaining her ups and downs with frankness, and even going up to take a walk in San Francisco in Ms. Doubtfire's costume.

"Robin was like a driving force," Lawrence said. "Like, for example, he would look at me all at once:" By the way, do not use drugs! Really scrambled my brain. I'm serious. Do not do them. "I was like, 'OK! It's stuck with me."
