Robinson ready to go, Goldman doubtful

The Rams wrapped up their first week of regular season training on Friday, ending their preparation for the Bears on Sunday night. The injury report offered no cause for concern to start the week and pretty much everyone is in good health heading into this Week 1 game.

A’Shawn Robinson was out on Wednesday before being limited on Thursday, making good progress as he continues to recover from a minor knee surgery. Sean McVay has always said he’s on track to play against the Bears and that hasn’t changed.

He doesn’t wear an injury designation in this game, which means he’s set to go on Sunday.

On the Bears’ side, it looks like starting nose tackle Eddie Goldman will miss this game with a knee injury. He injured his knee in practice Monday and hasn’t trained since.

It’s a big blow for Chicago because he’s one of their best defensive linemen, especially against the run.
