Along with these new cars celebrating NASCAR and Formula 1, the Rocket League team is also adding a “speed demon” of their own to the Tyranno. This new “dashboard master with a Dominus hitbox” is part of the Season 3 Rocket Pass, which will be unveiled next week.
Season 3 will also see a newly redesigned DFH (Circuit) stadium, which has been “fitted with a track and all the pageantry found at the trackside during a championship on Sunday.” This Arena will be added to Casual and Competitive Playlists, Private Matches, and Free Play at the start of Season 3.
This news follows Psyonix’s reveal of Rocket League Sideswipe, a new standalone mobile game that allows players to participate in two-minute 1v1 or 2v2 matches using touch controls that “will be familiar to veteran players; while being intuitive to newcomers. “For more on Rocket League, check out the new visual options the game added to Neon Fields after reports of seizures, and how hitting 120 FPS is a “minor patch” on Xbox Series X / S, but a “native port” complete “on PS5.
