Rocket leagueThe fourth season kicks off Wednesday, bringing big tournament changes, a setting to disable copyrighted music, and a new cowboy-themed car.

Tournament changes, which developer Psyonix first revealed on August 5, include a new 2v2 mode, giving you the ability to team up with just one other friend in competitive play. Psyonix is also adding many other tournaments – there will be “between eight and 13” additional tournaments in each region, Psyonix said. And in addition to the new 2v2 mode and the current 3v3 mode, the studio will host Extra Mode tournaments that will alternate between modes such as Rumble (which has random power-ups), Hoops (a basketball-like mode) and Snow Day (Rocket league face hockey).

Season 4 will also add a new setting that allows players to turn off copyrighted music in-game, which could help streamers avoid receiving DMCA takedown notifications. If you enable this setting, copyrighted audio will be “cut off or replaced with free-to-use music,” Psyonix explains.

The cowboy-themed Outlaw car will be available as part of Season Four Rocket Pass, which is the in-game version of a Fortnitestyle battle pass.

Rocket league Season 4 kicks off Wednesday at 11 a.m. ET.
