Rocket league announced the return of Rocket Labs, which will bring its experimental arenas to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PC, and Nintendo Switch games as a limited-time mode. According to Psyonix and Epic Games, the new Rocket Labs playlist – which is live as of this writing – will only be available for a limited time, but will return at different times in the future, bringing new types of arenas. Everytime.
For this weekend, the playlist will feature “Soccar on Galleon,” which is described as “a return to an arena originally found in Supersonic acrobatic rocket propelled combat carsยป, The game’s predecessor.
“The original Galleon, which looked like a pirate ship, was redesigned to Rocket league“, writes Psyonix.” The mast from the original has been removed, but players can still hit the raised decks behind both bases. “
The Galion will be available until Monday, January 18. And it looks like when he disappears Rocket Labs will go with. Psyonix notes that the mode will be returning in the future, but does not provide additional details on when it will return and how often it will return.
