Rocket League Season 2 Will Be Available To All Players Next Week, And With It Comes An Xbox Series X Update | S which gives players the option of choosing between Performance and Quality modes.
On December 8, the day before Season 2 kicks off, players will be able to download an Xbox Series X update | S. A new “Video Quality” setting will be added to the Video tab of the Settings menu, which allows users to choose between two visual modes: Quality and Performance.

Xbox Series X

  • Quality: 4K resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
  • Performance: The game runs at a resolution of 2688 × 1512 (70% of 4K) at 120 FPS with HDR

Xbox Series S

  • Quality: 1080p resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
  • Performance: Game runs at 1344 × 756 (70% of 1080p) Resolution at 120 FPS with HDR

Season 2 also brings a new arena called Neon Fields for online and private matches, and a new limited-time mode called Rocket Labs that periodically adds non-standard and experimental arenas and game modes to a special LTM playlist. .

A new customization option called Player Anthems is also to be added. Players will be able to equip new and old Rocket League songs that play after “goals, epic saves and after winning MVP honors”. Player Anthems can be unlocked by completing Challenges, through the Item Shop, and through the Rocket Pass. The Season 2 Rocket Pass will feature over 70 levels of items, including a new car, wheels, decals, and plenty of other customization options. The Xbox Series X Update | Rocket League’s S will be released on December 8, and Season 2 will begin on December 9.
