The Super Bowl is coming, and Rocket league Developer Psyonix has decided to bring its own version of the big game to the motor racing football game. February 2, Rocket league players can try out a brand new game mode called Gridiron. The event will run through February 8 and will feature event challenges and an NFL Fan Pack in the store.
Gridiron turns the football field into a football field. It’s a four-on-four game with real American football on the field instead of a boring old soccer ball. Touching the soccer ball attaches it to the roof of your car, making that car the ball carrier. Whoever touches the ball becomes the ball carrier, which means players can give a cool pass to a team, or a bad boy can steal the soccer ball away from your car.
You can also pass the ball by dodging, but the double jump will drop the bar from the top of the car. It seems like a good time for all sports people. Rocket league became free in summer 2020 and is available on consoles and the Epic Games Store. The full set of rules, along with event details, are available on the Psyonix website.
