The Houston Rockets closed their last home game of the regular season with an incredible 149-113 victory over the Phoenix Suns.
There was not much enthusiasm or tension in the Rockets' last home game on Sunday night. The Suns had all their big names, and the Rockets were not going to miss an easy and important victory at the side of the road.
Houston spent the night in Phoenix, increasing by 43 points at one point. To sum it up, the Rockets broke the previous record of their 26 throws to three in a game by dropping 27 beats tonight out of 57 attempts.
The crowd knew the meaning of this blow. This is Austin Rivers doing the story #Rockets become the first team in the NBA to have ever made 27 3 points in a single game. pic.twitter.com/1I6QdTw8hQ

Eric Gordon, who is arguably the best basketball player he has played all season, led the playoff by throwing eight assists on three out of 12 attempts, totaling 26 points in 24 minutes for the night. Clint Capela is also looking 100% more and more in every game, scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds over 7-9.
Phoenix has heavily doubled James Harden, paving the way for the contribution of others. P.J. Tucker gets his shot, hitting in 4-9 of 3 for 12 points. Nene looked lively and healthy in 15 minutes of play with 10 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists in 4-7. And, of course, Danuel House Jr. led the bench by scoring 3-4 scoring on three, 4-7 on the field, 6 rebounds and this monster jam.
Despite the difficult defense, James Harden was still able to have an almost perfect match. Harden, in 29 minutes, earned an ultra-quiet score of 30 points on 10-14 shots to go with his 9 assists and 13 rebounds. As previously stated, he is now in this exclusive club of 2,700 points, 500 assists and 500 rebounds in a season, joining only Michael Jordan. He is just 18 points from being the only player in NBA history with 2,800 points, 500 assists and 500 rebounds in one season.
With the win, the Rockets are now playing two full-back games in Portland for third place, with the possibility of adding an extra half-leg to the Trail Blazers against the Denver Nuggets tonight. Houston still has one game to play in the regular season against OKC Thunder in Oklahoma on Tuesday.
