Rockstar launcher update teases Grand Theft Auto remastered trilogy

Even more evidence has emerged towards the release of the Grand Theft Auto trilogy remaster. @videotech_ on Twitter looked at the back of the latest Rockstar Games Launcher update, and sure enough, they found locations for Grand Theft Auto III, San Andreas, and Vice City.

It comes less than a week after Korea’s Game Review and Administration Committee released a review for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

A Kotaku report from August of this year originally indicated that the three classic GTA games will be heading to PS5, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PC, Stadia, and mobile devices. The games will apparently feature a mix of “new and old graphics”. Rockstar has yet to officially respond to the rumors of the trilogy.

Rockstar Games released its own PC game launcher in 2019, including a hub and store just for its games. The launcher includes games like GTA, LA Noire and Bully.

The rumored GTA trilogy isn’t the only ongoing remaster for the series. Grand Theft Auto 5 is coming to next-gen consoles, but it was recently postponed to 2022. The remaster has received a lot of reaction from fans on the internet ready to switch from GTA V.
