Rocksteady adds two new costumes to Batman: Arkham Knight

More than five years later Batman: Arkham Knight Originally in stores, Rocksteady Studios randomly decided to offer players two new unlockable combinations as a free upgrade. Fans can now play through the story of the game in Bruce Wayne’s Zur-En-Arrh costume or his “Anime Batman” outfit. Check out the studio’s announcement below.

Technically, this isn’t the first time players have had the chance to download one of these combinations. Fans with a WB Games ID could previously find them on the official website Knight of arkham message boards until the company closes its WBPlay service. But now the suits are available for everyone without any conditions. They also mark the first new Knight of arkham DLC since Dark Knight Earth 2 Skin was released in January.

Bruce’s Zur-En-Arrh outfit first appeared in Batman # 113 in 1958. It was carried by another Batman living on the planet Zur-En-Arrh, who summoned Bruce to his world to help him fend off an invasion of giant robots. Grant Morrison later resurrected the costume for his own Batman executed in 2006. The “Anime Batman” costume is based on the appearance of the character in the “Field Test” segment of Batman: Gotham Knight.

Rocksteady is also currently preparing for the release of its next DC game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The studio presented the game’s first trailer at the DC FanDome event in August. Located in the same universe as the Arkham saga, Kill the Justice League allows players to control four key members of Task Force X in their efforts to defeat DC Universe’s first superhero team. The game will be released for Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X in 2022.
