Rod Stewart reveals he’s ‘mate’ with Elton John again after ending ‘nasty’ feud

Rod Stewart is said to have ended his ‘malicious’ fallout with old friend Elton John, apologizing almost three years after their argument.

Things got tense in 2018 when Maggie May rocker, 76, mocked singer Your Song’s retirement tour and again in 2019 after making a remark on Elton’s career-based biopic called Rocketman.

However, it is now believed that they’ve patched things up and are “ friends ” again, with father-of-eight Rod wanting to set a good example for his children by apologizing.

According to The Sun, Rod said in an upcoming episode of The Harry Redknapp Show podcast that he realized he was “ mean ” while criticizing Elton’s tour.

He said: ‘I was a little mean when he announced his tour. I regret it, I really regret it. So we’re friends again now. I really like.
