Lil Baby also scored five tracks on the Most Read Lyrics Board, including the non-My turn cut “The Bigger Picture”.

The third most listened to album of the year, Pop Smoke’s Shoot for the stars Aim for the moon, also had three Top 100 songs: “For the Night”, “Mood Swings” and “Dior”, the top two also reaching the top 100 in the lyrics chart.

Top 5 albums completed by Lil Uzi Vert’s Eternal Atake – LUV vs. World 2 (No.4) and Summer Walker Above (No.5). This latest album also listed two titles among the top 100 songs: “Playing Games” and “I’ll Kill You”.

Apple Music’s year-end previews also include some interesting snippets highlighting the global nature of the music industry in 2020. For example, the early Shazams of American pop idol Billie Eilish “All I Wanted” ”,“ Bad guy ”and“ when the party is over ”were in Moscow, Shenzen (China) and Guanajuato (Mexico), respectively. Likewise, the four Drake songs that landed in the top 100 were Shazamed first in the Dominican Republic, Israel, France and the United States, while Post Malone’s top four entries were initially Shazamed in Croatia, Italy, the United States and Mexico.

Japan – the world’s second-largest music market and the fastest-growing first market for Apple Music – also had an impact on the service’s year-end charts. “Yoru Ni Kakeru” by YOASOBI was the biggest hit to come out of the country this year, finishing at No.69 on the World’s Best Songs Chart and No.3 on the Most Read Lyrics Chart. In its native country, the track was also the second most shazamous of the year after “Dance Monkey”.
