"Golden Deer" presents its competitors in 2018, after the jury has deliberated and chose the artists who will compete for the Grand Trophy of the International Festival. Organized by Romanian television, the Golden Stag International Festival will be broadcast live on TVR 1 and TVR Moldova between 29 August and 2 September. Due to the large number of registered candidates, the organizers decided that 18 artists could participate in the contest, against 15 originally planned. After having analyzed the documents submitted by more than 110 candidates registered in the selection, the members of the jury chose the 18 candidates who will go on the scene in Brasov.
Three competitors from Romania
Thus, for the anniversary edition, the selection jury selected 18 competitors to stage the prestigious Festival. They are:

The 18 artists who will participate in the Golden Deer Contest were chosen by the jury of the selection, consisting of Daniel Jinga – conductor and composer, Liana Stanciu Georgescu – radio and television journalist Felix Crainicu – Radio Romania Actualităţi, Andrei Tudor – composer, Andreea Archip – journalist, Gabriel Scirlet – director TVR and Smaranda Vornicu Shalit – festival director
The next step for the 18 competitors is the choice of the Romanian repertoire that they will play on the Brasov stage, from the list provided by the organizers on the site cerbuldeaur.ro, in the dedicated section.
25,000 euros
50 years after the first edition, the Golden Stag 2018 will have a gala with many awards, with a total value of 65,000 euros. The contest will begin August 30 and September 1, we will know the names of the winners of this year 's edition. In addition to the Grand Trophy, worth 25,000 euros, this year's edition, competitors can win another eight awards. The Golden Stag International Festival will be held from 29 August to 2 September at the Council Square in Braşov.
