The construction of the OPPO Find X is not difficult

The OPPO Find X is by far the most impressive phone on the market, both in terms of design and technology embedded in its almost entirely glass body. The sliding component that hides the cameras and sensors in the body of the phone raises the first moments of questioning about Find X's resistance, but now we have the verdict. The new OPPO lighthouse is not exactly a resilient phone.

JerryRigEverything's stress test confirms the fears we had when OPPO introduced Find X: the advanced braking system is a sore point in its construction. While the phone is largely made of similar materials to those of other devices, such as glass Gorilla Glass 5 on both sides and a metal frame, the fact that there is a weak point in the frame when joining the two components causes compression of the structure.

Thus, even if it passes in normal parameters compared to normal scratch tests, the flexion test turns the phone into an amalgam of glass, metal and plastic. The screen is almost instantly destroyed, followed by the two front and rear glass panels. The problem also seems due to the fact that Find X has a lot of plastic inside, OPPO using this material to assemble the components inside, while most companies use a metal frame with a support of components in the center.
