According to the CNSCBT, the total number of confirmed cases of measles in Romania since the beginning of the epidemic is 14,701, including 59 deaths. During the last half of the year, 105 newly confirmed cases were reported in 12 counties and Bucharest. Most of the new cases, 28 respectively, occurred in Bucharest. Another 20 cases were recorded in Iaşi County and 18 cases were confirmed in Buzău County. There were also diseases in the counties of Neamt (14), Calarasi (5), Tulcea (4), Vaslui (4), Argeş (3), Galati (3), Giurgiu (2), Teleorman. and Prahova (1). No new deaths were reported last week.
