Total foreign debt increased by 2.5 billion euros in the first five months of the year, according to data published yesterday by the National Bank of Romania

In the structure, long-term foreign debt amounted to 67.5 billion euros, 3% of total external debt), down 1.6% from 31 December 2017; while short-term external debt rose to 28.5 billion euros (29.7% of total external debt) as at May 31, 2018, up 14.6% as of December 31, 2017
