George Clooney, injured in a motorcycle accident in Italy

The local publication La Nuova Sardegna informs that the actor was not seriously injured but was rushed to the emergency department of the Giovanni Paolo Hospital II.

Police and hospital representatives refused to provide information.

The daily also reports that the 57-year-old actor went on a shootout when his motorcycle was hit by a car.

Clooney has a house near Lake Como in Italy.
