Los Angeles police arrested a man after he barricaded himself in a grocery store for several hours shortly after killing his grandmother.
According to CNN, about 40 people were in the store when the attacker arrived and barricaded himself, trying to get rid of the police.
The suspect, a 28-year-old African American, shot his grandmother and another woman and ran away with the police car with his grandmother.
Los Angeles Police Chief Michael Moore said that after several hours of discussions with the negotiators, the suspect taught and was handcuffed.

The officer added that the attacker had fired 7 times on his grandmother and that the woman had been taken to hospital
