We recall that Ovidiu Anton, who won the National Selection with the song "Moment of Silence", lost the right to climb to the Eurovision 2016 due to the debts of the Romanian Television. to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the largest public television association in the world, and the organizer of the music contest.

In addition, the singer Lidia Isac (25 years old), a former candidate for the "Voice of Romania" of Pro TV, was also chosen as a candidate for the Golden Stag, representing the Republic of Moldova.
