The appeal panel dismissed Florin Talpan's claim, so Rapid will play in Ligue 3 the following season.
"The appeal of Florin Talpan was dismissed by the FRF's Appeals Commission, so Rapid will play in Liga 3, as decided in the field," reads a message published by Rapid on Facebook.
Protesters, led by lawyer Florin Talpan, complained of illegality in the disputed Play Off for promotion into the fourth league in the third league. They have filed several appeals to AMFB boards, accusing the fact that more Rapid players do not have the right to play, since they are legitimized by another company.
The AMFB's Disciplinary Commission analyzed Florin Talpan's objections and, after a hearing, dismissed them on 6 June.
Talpan then appealed, and today the Appeal Board dismissed his appeal.
