The Maserati Levante received a GTS version at Goodwood with 550 hp. It is also equipped with a V8 engine assembled by Ferrari
In the Italian range, the Levante GTS is framed under the Trofeo, but benefits from the same engine torque. We talk desperate 730 Nm between 2500 and 5000 revolutions per minute. Meanwhile, the maximum power of 550 hp is offered at 6,250 rpm and the unit is coupled with an all-wheel drive system. Of course, this V8 is still used in the Maserati range, being equipped with the Quattroporte GTS, but the Q4 all-wheel drive is a novelty in the company of this aggregate.
At the architectural level, we have a 90 degree V and a 3.8 liter cylinder, and the engine is supercharged with two turbochargers. The standard transmission is an eight speed automatic ZF. Thanks to these resources, the 550 hp Levante GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in just 4.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 292 km / h. A quick calculation shows that each power has to move 3.9 kilograms, a good weight ratio and a sports car, not to mention an SUV.
In terms of design, the GTS version of Levante comes with a Trofeo influence and has changes compared to other variants in the lower bumper. The interior can be ordered with two types of leather and a Harman Kardon audio system with 14 speakers and aluminum sport pedals
The multimedia system MTC + has been updated with new graphics and better ergonomics air conditioning units The optional Pieno Fiore leather has a double seam on the door panels and has a special texture. At the same time, the range of ornaments has been expanded with two new types of glossy wood.
Maserati offers ten colors in the Levante range, and the rims portfolio has five new models available up to 22 inches. The price of the 550 hp Levante GTS variant will be announced later, but the start is expected for this year
