Microsoft explained that the new version is more reliable and has shorter download times. Users can upgrade for free. The software giant has started launching new Skype features and will continue to do so during the summer. These include Skype 8.0 for iPad, a feature that lets you see who reads your messages, encrypted audio calls, text messages and call recording among other features.
