The Head Salvamont Argeş, Ion Sănduloiu said that 12 saviors intervened to rescue the man who led a group of students and who, for unknown reasons, dropped a few tens of meters in the Moldoveanu Peak area
"It's a tough action that will last a long time.He fell, we do not know how, but those who came to him told us that he is not breathing," Sănduloiu said.
According to Salvamont Romania, the accident occurred in the crest of the Făgăraş massif
Helicopter support was also requested to transport the rescuers, but the weather conditions in the area seem to make impossible use of this resource. There are support teams prepared in Sibiu, Victoria, Bâlea, but they can only be transported by helicopter, "said the source quoted.
