Razer Huntsman Elite TEST, a gamer typewriter

[ad_1]

Razer recently released the fastest keyboard he's ever created and with respect to editing, we've been curious to see how fast this is going on.

Razer Huntsman Elite is the company's first keyboard with switches should be fast as a car fast and furious and resilient as the tank in the movie Fury. Huntsman Elite is a 1.2 kg weighing keyboard, has a minimalist design, a high-end look and is made of quality materials. You will never have the impression that you are dealing with a cheap keyboard.

What makes it special for other Razer keyboards, besides the new switching technology, is the presence of buttons dedicated to the media. at the top right There you can find 3 buttons (front, back and stop / play) and a wheel whose function is to control the volume and if you press it, the sound is silent

With these buttons you can more easily control the playlist of songs you listen on your computer. Useful, but what's hotter is that you can program the wheel to do more than just control the volume. You can set it as when you open the task manager or when you turn to hack all the applications and programs in the bar and see the desktop.

These are just some examples of wheel use and you can have it configured to do something else using the Razer Synapse application. Another thing that we have found useful in the wheel is that it can be used in Adobe Premiere Pro and you can shoot by rotating it. Useful and accurate for such work

What I did not like about these media buttons, is that they do not have the same high quality as the rest of the keys . The media buttons are plastic and are not lit from the inside, and the wheel is also plastic and sometimes locks when rotating. It would have been nice if Razer kept the same level of quality here

Razer Huntsman Elite, RGB Light Show

The Huntsman Elite also comes with a wrist support to keep your wrists when you write or play. It connects through magnetic keyboards and is, in turn, illuminated with an RGB band.

Pini makes it great for the keyboard, but if you pick it up, the stand will come off. So you have to be careful when you handle it. The holder has a sponge and a material that mimics the skin on the top and is very comfortable for the wrists. It's like having pillows for your hands. You should know that the keyboard occupies two USB slots if you want the pad to be turned on. If you do not have room for both, it's good that the keyboard works with a USB port

As for the lighting, I have to say that I'm not sure. love the illumination offered by the Elite Huntsman. I have never been a fan of RGB lights in a player 's setup and I have not looked to buy any of these products, but Elite could change my mind. There are six lighting modes for all tastes, my favorites being waves and wires, but for those who just want to see their keyboard at night, they can opt for static mode. Of course, if you want, you can program your lights to do what you want and want, the solution proposed in the Synapse application is quite dense

I liked that the level of The intensity of the light is not too strong even at the level and the keyboard and pad look good on the desk. Another minor thing that I liked is that Razer chose not to put his bright logo anywhere. The only sign this product comes up with is the logo on the wrist strap

How to handle the fastest Razer game keyboard

As it says, Razer Huntsman Elite is the newest but fastest keyboard that Razer has never created. This is possible thanks to a new switching technology: the keyboard is the first of its kind with opto-mechanical switches. Using optical technology, an infrared light beam built into each switch accurately detects the point of action while pressing a key.

The keys have a 1.5mm control point that allows the Razer Opto-Mechanical switches is 30% faster than conventional switches but also twice as robust (it should take 100 million of traits).

Using technology the number of moving parts is reduced and physical contact during the order is eliminated

We have no scientific knowledge to test the product to see if that's the case, but we can tell you our keyboard experience. However, this speed probably would not be noticeable in video games.

One thing I have heard about Huntsman Elite compared to other mechanical keyboards that we have tested is that the keys are pushed more easily. The difference is not great, but noticeable, in my opinion. The typing experience is similar to other mechanical keyboards and gives the same tactile satisfaction when you press a key.

Huntsman Elite produces a rather loud and rather metallic sound. When I was writing with Huntsman, I felt like a 40-50 typist. The noise is big enough and can be boring for those around you. Initially, I did not like the sound of the keyboard, but after a few days of use I made myself and I really liked it sounds. By the way, writing the best speed score on this keyboard was 295 words per minute. Pretty good, but under what I get on a laptop, 345 words per minute.

Keyboard for Dedicated Players

A lot of games and I was happy with the response time and the way they behaved. I spent a lot of time with Castle Crashers, an RPG hack and slash that is played only on the keys and the keyboard worked fine. The skills were triggered in a timely and accurate manner. The keyboard is solid and should lead to many gaming sessions

That being said, the keyboard is a premium keyboard that targets players who want to get the maximum performance from their peers and has a price over 200 € [19659002] I had a good experience with Huntsman Elite, but I would have liked the media buttons to have a better build and the keyboard to have dedicated buttons for macros, because there is more. other products in the same category price
