Swimmer Ryan Lochte six-time Olympic champion, accepted a 14-month doping suspension because he used a prohibited intravenous drip, reported Monday the US anti-doping agency (USADA ), Reuters
. from a USADA press release, Lochte posted an image on social networking sites showing an infusion of licensed substances, and a subsequent investigation showed that he had exceeded his accepted level
The suspension of The 33-year-old athlete came into effect May 24, the date of the infusion.
Lochte was in the media attention in 2016 when, along with other American swimmers, he claimed to have been assaulted by fake policemen during the match.
