The jury of the Selection of Golden Deer 2018 has selected 18 candidates from 15 countries to compete for the big trophy of the event, which will take place between August 29 and September 2 on the Council Square in Braşov , according to TVR

The 18 artists who will participate in the Golden Deer Contest were chosen by the selection jury composed of Daniel Jinga – head of 39, orchestra and composer, Liana Stanciu Georgescu – journalist specializing in radio and television, Felix Crainicu – producer Radio Romania Actualitati, Andrei Tudor – composer, Andreea Archip – journalist, Gabriel Scirlet – TVR and Smaranda Vornicu Shalit – festival director
The next step for the 18 candidates is the selection of Romanian repertoire that they will perform on stage in Brasov , from the list provided by the organizers on the site cerbuldeaur.ro, to the dedicated section
Contest participants may file calls within the next 24 hours, to be paid by the festival management team , also within 24 hours.
The Festival will open on August 30th and the winner will be announced on September 1st.
In addition to the grand prize of € 25,000, this year's participants can win another eight prizes.
50 years after the first edition, Golden Deer 2018 will have a gala run, with many awards, a total value of 65,000 euros. Dedicated to the centenary of Romania and the half-centenary of the festival, TVR offers a special format of the event, with a birthday gala, two days of competition, a festival gala and adjacent events [19659005] The festival will end with the "Centenar Romania" a show that will bring together traditional Romanian folk music and thematic developments of this genre
