After a year-long trial, the Cluj-Napoca City Hall was sentenced by the Court of Appeal to publish the contracts concluded with singers at street parties occasioned by the national holiday (1st December 2017) and New Year's Eve (31 December 2017). The highest amount was obtained by Andra, who sang, on December 1, 2017, for one hour in the center of the city (between 19 and 20): 78,000 lei (16,847 euros) with VAT included. A simple calculation shows us that the artist was paid 280 euros per minute of concert. The contract stipulated that "the supplier will carry out an artistic program with the participation of the performer ANDRA and his collaborators, instrumental artists, sound and song, etc.," writes Adevărul.ro
The contract also stipulates that the city hall – for one night and 3 days a day (breakfast, dinner and breakfast) for 14 people (8 rooms – 6 doubles and 2 singles) in the most luxurious hotel from the city – Grand Hotel Italia. In addition, City Hall provided the artist and collaborators with a minimum on-site protocol (snacks, appetizer, water payment, refreshments).
