5th edition of Great Picnic ShortsUP – short films in the Botanical Garden, it's an adventure from one end to the other – explore the film, the place and, what is most interesting, yourself. The selection is bold, fun and delicate – get ready for humor, suspense and a good dose of introspection.

Stretched to the movies – to keep your attention awake – you find thoughts that make you think – to friends ShortsUP who have explored extreme or less extreme extremes unexpected – curious people who teach you to be curious. People who tell you with humor, "Get out of the house. Go one step further. Go. Take the first step. A desire for us to explore places not spoken, geographically understood but mostly abstract: a place, a situation, a man, a context. You do not know where to start? Some well-chosen short films are a perfect instrument.

ShortsUP Large Picnic Tickets can be purchased in advance via Eventbook Network, 1 day (30 lei), 2 days of subscription (50 lei) or 3 days of subscription (70 lei). Tickets can also be purchased on the spot in the available seats (35 lei – evening, 60 lei – 2 days subscription, 90 lei – 3 days subscription). The ticket price includes access to movies, access to the Botanical Garden, guided tours, a food court, a DJ, games and facilities.

IMPORTANT: If the weather prevents film screenings, the event will be postponed until August. All tickets purchased in advance will be valid for the reprogrammed event.

The Great Picnic is the summer edition of ShortsUP, one of the most daring independent film projects in Romania. The event has made the tradition of bringing together the summer lovers of cinema and cinematographic arts in one of the most beautiful green corners of the capital, the Botanical Garden.
