Why Andromeda's Microsoft Device Will Not Be Launched This Year
A lot of news about the fact that Microsoft is developing a dual-screen device with Windows . It is supposed to have Andromeda code, and Microsoft already has many patents published detailing such a device.
Panos Panay, Microsoft's product manager, led a tweet (with no apparent association with Andromeda) also speculated that the company could launch this device later this year, but according to a new one, it is unlikely.
It is worth mentioning here that Microsoft has never said that it intends to launch a dual-screen mobile device with Windows. He did not even say anything about the software for him.
Rumors arrived at this conclusion by itself, based on revealed unofficial messages and published patents. ZDNet informs that parts of the Microsoft Andromeda device that originally were supposed to be destined for the next major update of Windows 10 will not be added to it.
The author claims that this is due to programming (no: on time) and quality, besides the fact that there is no compelling reason for Microsoft to put on the market Andromeda dual-screen mobile device
Andromeda's software components will not be included in Windows 10 Redstone 5 to be released in October 2018, and can not be added to the next update of Windows 10.
The author also heard from his sources that Andromeda, or his successor, could possibly arrive, but he might not be a smartphone-sized device, but rather a small PC that can run applications Win32. As always, Microsoft chose not to comment on the Andromeda News
