ROME: Total War – Alexander arrives on iPhone and Android on October 24

Feral Interactive announced today that ROME: Total War – Alexander, the strategy game based on the exploits of the greatest commander of antiquity, would be available on iPhone and Android on October 24th. Originally developed by Creative Assembly and released by SEGA for Windows PC, and introduced on iPad by Feral Interactive, Alexander is the second standalone extension set for the ROME: Total War mobile gaming, acclaimed by the critical. Alexander will be a premium game without in-app purchases.
A century before the events of ROME: Total War, Alexander ascends the Macedonian throne and embarks on a daring campaign to conquer the all-powerful Persian empire. The players will lead their armies to unify the Greek cities, then cross Central Asia by borrowing all enemies, before becoming legend under the name of Alexander the Great, the most remarkable general of classical civilization.
For players who have mastered ROME and Invasion Barbarian, Alexander is the ultimate test of their skills.
As in ROME: Total War and Barbarian Invasion, the Alexander versions for iPhone and Android will offer all the experience of the desktop version, with a user interface specifically designed for phones.

Alexander is available for pre-registration on the Google Play Store. Once out, the game will cost $ 4.99 / $ 5.49 / £ 4.99. The iPhone version will be a free update for all users of the iPad version. It will be a premium game, without any in-app purchases.
