Chelsea defender Reece James praised teammate Romelu Lukaku after his dominant performance against Arsenal and said the Belgian “intimidates anyone he comes up against”.
Lukaku made his first appearance for the Blues since his record £ 97.5million transfer from Inter Milan and he led them to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
It only took the 28-year-old 15 minutes to reopen his goal tally for Chelsea and he was also influential in the second goal – as it gave Arsenal’s Pablo Mari an afternoon to forget.

Defender Reece James was impressed with Lukaku. He said: “What an addition to our team to have such a vocal forward like that.
“Everyone saw today how powerful he is and when he gets the chance he finishes. I think he showed how he intimidates players today.
“I can’t really think of other players like him in the world. How strong he is and how he bumps into everyone he bullies.
The 21-year-old also managed to get on the scoresheet and it was his cross that led to a single strike from Lukaku.

Lukaku was all smiles after the game and he said be in sports: “You know how moving it was today.
‘This one is the best of the bunch. Obviously it was just a tap-in but the build-up was nice so for me this one was the best.
“It took me about five minutes to understand the movements of my teammates but I asked a lot of questions. To be honest, this group is very, very talented and hungry.
“It was easy for me to fit in because I played that way with the Belgian national team. The coach prepared us well and we came in with confidence and got a good result. ‘
After back-to-back wins, Chelsea now face the daunting task of facing Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday night.
