For all mankind Executive Producer Ron Moore brings the Magic Kingdom universe to Disney +.

Moore is developing several TV projects on the streaming service that will take place at Disney’s Magic Kingdom, according to people familiar with the situation at Deadline.

Moore will write and produce the first project, titled The Society of Explorers and Adventurers,
a series from the 20th TV set of the Magic Kingdom universe, where the lands and themed characters from Disney parks and classic movies all exist in an alternate reality.

Moore would also work closely with the Disney Imagineering team on other projects that would be the first part of a universe similar to Marvel but set in the Magic Kingdom. Moore would oversee the entire franchise. Moore’s Tall Ship Productions’ Maril Davis and Ben McGinnis are also involved in all projects.

Disney + and 20th TV declined to comment.

The Disney + projects follow on from Moore’s recently signed global multi-year agreement with Disney’s 20th TV.

The first project under this agreement is a Swiss family Robinson series at Disney +, with which Moore teams up Crazy Rich Asians director John M. Chu. Moore is currently executive producer on Starz’s Outlander and Apple TV + For all mankind, produced by Sony TV, where he was previously under contract.

The Hollywood Reporter was the first to break the news.
