Ronda Rousey almost lost a finger in what she called an "abnormal crash" on the set of the drama series "Fox 9-1-1".

Rousey posted a photo of the injury on Instagram Tuesday, showing a close-up of her bloody, mutilated and broken finger while she was lying on a hospital bed, looking distressed.

Former UFC champion, Rousey entered the world of sports entertainment with WWE last year, but has also starred in movies and television series.

In an Instagram post, she stated that she was shooting for the hit TV series Fox "9-1-1" after she broke a finger. According to a photo, it seems that it is the middle finger of the left hand. She said that she had started filming because she had the habit of living in public and never showed pain unless it was supposed to be there.

"So the message came out, I almost lost my 9-1-1 punch on Fox," Rousey said on Instagram. "Freak accident, first catch of the day when a boat door fell on my hand, I was just thinking of pinching my fingers and so I finished taking it before looking."

"After a pause in the action, I informed our director about the situation and I went urgently by ambulance to the hospital where they quickly attached my bone and my tendon with a plate and screws, "she added.
