Rose McGowan to join Larry Elder amid Harvey Weinstein-related allegation against Newsom’s wife

Actress Rose McGowan will appear alongside Republican nominee for California governor Larry Elder to address the media on Sunday afternoon, two days before the state’s recall election in which Elder attempts to overthrow Governor Gavin Newsom.

McGowan claims that six months before making sexual assault allegations against Harvey Weinstein, Newsom’s wife, Jennifer Siebel Newsom, contacted her to relay a message to her from Weinstein’s attorney, David Boies.

Elder said he was not sure if McGowan’s allegations were true, but told Fox LA that McGowan “produced emails that were sent to him by Gavin Newsom’s wife.”
