Rosiane Santos, woman indicted after confronting a man wearing a MAGA hat, is arrested by ICE

Falmouth, Mass. – A woman accused after appearing on a man wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat at a Mexican restaurant in Falmouth, Massachusetts, was arrested by US police. The agency said it was illegally in the country, CBS reported Boston.

According to the police, Rosiane Santos passed by Bryton Turner as he was dining at Casa Vallarta and dropped the hat off his head. She would then have confronted him verbally. Turner recorded a video showing part of the confrontation.

Falmouth police accused Santos of disorderly conduct following the incident at the beginning of the month. Tuesday, ICE took her into custody.

"Deportation agents belonging to the ICE fugue operations team today arrested Rosiane Santos, a Brazilian citizen illegally present, near Falmouth, Massachusetts," she said. said ICE spokesman John Mohan.

Turner said that he was just trying to eat a good meal when Santos grabbed his hat to support President Trump.

"It's just a hat at the end of the day," Turner told CBS Boston after the incident. "I do not really understand why people can no longer express themselves, everyone must get angry."

Santos was later released from custody of the ICE. She was sentenced to appear before an immigration judge for removal proceedings.

"I never want to assume that people are illegal because I do not think it's fair to a lot of good citizens," Turner said Tuesday. "It's good that they had it."
