Rowdy Tellez gives Milwaukee Brewers and Twitter fans a rowdy moment

Get up … get up … bring Rowdy here … gone!

After 6½ scoreless innings, a booming two-run homerun from Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Rowdy Tellez gave the Brewers a 2-0 lead in Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Brave.

Tellez’s 413-foot blast deserved a slight variation from a familiar home run, as it sent the American crowd at Family Field into a frenzy in Friday’s 2-1 win.

Following: Excellent pitching and just enough attack. This is how the Brewers are going to have to win in the playoffs.

And Twitter noticed the majestic explosion.

Baseball has been abused.

And Tellez knew it was gone.

Also, it looks like Atlanta’s analytics department missed that number.

And fans had another reason to stick their claws when Tellez helped the Brewers get out of a traffic jam in the first inning by turning that fluid double play.
