The former New York mayor was interviewed last week by a local NBC News channel about the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
In the interview, Giuliani deviated from the topic to discuss more recent issues, including the federal investigation into allegations he did not register as an agent of the pro-Russian Ukrainians while pushing back claims damaging to President Joe Biden in 2019.
Giuliani’s attempt to smear Biden and his son, Hunter, for their work in Ukraine resulted in Trump’s first impeachment.
“I did not commit any crime,” Giuliani said. “And if you think I committed a crime, you’re probably really stupid because you don’t know who I am.”
