RUMOR: Disneyland Paris replaces the free FastPass service with a paid “Disney Premier Access”

According to sources, Disneyland Paris will be phasing out free FastPass in August. Guests will now have to pay for a digital FastPass replacement. The new system will be called “Disney Premier Access” or DPA. It is also the name of the service at the Shanghai Disney Resort.

Sources say Disney Premier Access will launch with eight attractions. Guests will purchase DPA passes through the Disneyland Paris app. Visitors must enter the park with a valid entry before they can purchase Premier Access passes.

Disney Premier Access is expected to launch at Disneyland Paris in August. An official announcement of the new service is expected very soon.

It seems likely that the same service will also launch at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort in the not-so-distant future.
