Persona 5 R is now officially known as Persona 5: The Royal, after a short commercial for the next PlayStation 4 game aired during the last episode of the animated series.
Although the new Atlus game has not been released on Nintendo Switch, it seems that there is a link between the latter trailer and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Last month, dataminer Dr. HyperCake discovered a text string in Ultimate referring to "Jane" with "pony_hair" and "Jack" (allegedly the code name of the DLC Joker character).

Watch the latest Trailer of Persona 5 below and you'll notice that it contains a mysterious woman whose hairstyle is described as a "ponytail". There is now speculation that it could be an alternative suit for Joker in Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Joker should arrive at Super Smash Bros. Ultimate before the end of April. The next information on Persona 5: The Royal will be shared on April 24 at the Persona Super Live 2019 concert.
