Cam Newton’s future is sure to be a big headline for the months to come.

Newton finished the year with a 7-8 record and threw just 2,657 yards, eight touchdowns and ten interceptions. If there was anything positive to take from his season, it’s that he ran the ball 137 times for 592 yards and 12 touchdowns – averaging 4.3 yards per carry.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter believes Newton could join the Washington football team next season on a roughly two-year deal that could produce up to $ 50 million with incentives.

Remember, these are opinions, not facts.

Washington head coach Ron Rivera is close to Cam as he has coached him all his time in Carolina.

Washington has taken out Dwayne Haskins and Alex Smith, while brave, is clearly not the QB of the future at his age.
