Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint reveals he is ‘very comfortable being a dad’, claims he sleeps MORE now than before becoming a parent
He welcomed a baby girl named Wednesday with his longtime girlfriend Georgia Groome in May of last year.
And Rupert Grint has spoken of the joys of fatherhood, saying he’s “ very comfortable being a dad ” and even sleeps more than before.
The Harry Potter star, 32, and his actress partner Georgia, 28, adjusted to parenthood together while they were locked out.

Speaking to Glamor magazine about becoming a father, he said: “ I feel very comfortable being a father. I’m still coming to terms with what it’s like to be a dad, but I love it.
He revealed that the change in paternity caused him to change certain habits “overnight” and that he quit smoking immediately.
And unlike many first-time parents, he has said parenting has been ‘calming’ and claims he is sleeping more now than before.

“I slept so much better. I was a horrible insomniac, now I sleep, ”he says.
“I feel a lot more – I don’t know, oddly relaxed. It has been a very calming process for me. Obviously, there are days when she [Wednesday] is FULL on. But there is something really cool about the routine. It puts me in a good position, I think.
Grint also gave a glimpse into his relationship with his girlfriend Georgia, famous for her role in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, saying the secret to their long-term love is that they are ‘best friends’.
The couple have kept their relationship famous since they started dating in 2011.
However, he admitted that welcoming a child during a pandemic can be difficult at times, without the usual support from family and friends.
But the British star said he couldn’t wait to take his daughter out on Wednesday to see the world when things got back to normal.
In November, Grint took to Instagram, posting a photo of himself cradling his then six-month-old daughter wearing a pink sweater with the back of his head facing the camera.
He racked up over a million likes in just four hours and now has over four million subscribers on the social media platform.
The actor is busy promoting the second season of the hit Apple TV + Servant series, which centers on the tragic loss of a child.
