News Corp Developing News Aggregator

Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, a media conglomerate, is reported to have developed a news aggregator to compete with Google News and Facebook.

The Wall Street Journal indicated that the Knewz platform would compete with other news aggregators by not taking part of the publishers' advertising revenues and is promoting original news stories.

Sources told the the Wall Street newspaper the platform is supposed to give visibility to the points of sale News Corp.'s executives claim that Google and Facebook searches are downgraded, like the most recent conservative sites. Daily thread and the Washington Examiner. Other officials told the Newspaper that the goal is to showcase all deserving reporting, regardless of the policy.

Google and Facebook did not comment immediately, but companies said their algorithms did not rank or rank the content.

The service will also support national sales outlets such as The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal – owned by News Corp.

Murdoch also oversees News Corp's sister company, Fox Corporation, which controls Fox News and Fox Sports. News Corp. and Fox Corp. were separated from the original News Corporation in 2013.

Officials say Knewz could be launched later this year, but said the company could still decide to mix everything up.
