“That’s the problem with kids these days. No focus,” retorted the actor.

Twitter users who think they can pull a prank at Russell Crowe’s expense might want to think twice before posting a joke.

Earlier this month, a Twitter user made a joke to some, a rude comment to others, about the epic war adventure of 2003. Master and Commander: the other side of the world, which stars Crowe.

“A lot of people complain about lack of sleep during the pandemic. May I recommend Master and Commander with Russell Crowe, usually captivating and captivating. I never went past the ten minute mark. You’re welcome. And thank you. Russell” The Twitter user wrote to his credit, the Twitter user tagged Crowe in the post, so he wasn’t lost among the cheeky twitterverse.

Crowe finally saw it and responded on Saturday night. He clearly didn’t find the commentary on the Oscar nominated film cute.

“That’s the problem with kids these days. No focus. Peter Weir’s film is brilliant. A demanding epic narrative, focused on detail and loyalty to Empire and service, whatever the cost. Incredible Russell Boyd cinematography and a majestic soundtrack – an adult movie, ”he writes.

In the film, nominated for 10 Academy Awards, Crowe plays Captain Jack Aubrey of HMS Surprise. Set in 1805, Aubrey and his crew are tasked with tracking down and capturing a powerful French ship.
